Mindfulness taster sessions

Feel like you are running on auto-pilot? Finding it hard to relax or focus? Or maybe you are simply curious about mindfulness and meditation?

Come along to our free Mindfulness Taster Session led by local facilitator Helen. You will experience two different types of mindfulness practice and how they can be helpful in managing everyday stress. It will be a relaxed session where you can ask questions, reflect on your experience, and even explore mindfulness books held by the library.

Mindfulness is not a fad; it is proven to be of real benefit. By learning to notice what is happening to our mind and body without making judgements, we can lead calmer and more joyful lives.
Feel free to bring a blanket or cushion if you wish.
