You can read eBooks and listen to eAudiobooks through ePlatform and Borrowbox. Read or listen anywhere, any time and on most devices. You will need your library card number and PIN/password. Phone or email if you need help getting set up.

Library Takeaways
During the pandemic, we understand that some people may prefer contactless pickups. The Library Takeaways service allows you to place a request allows you to place a request for books to pick up outside of our buildings during business hours.

- what types of books you need
- confirm which of our three libraries you wish to collect from
If you have holds waiting for you, we can have these available as a contactless pick-up as well.

Are you homebound? Can’t make it to the library? We can help with that!
If you can’t get into the library because of mobility challenges or illness, or vulnerability during the Covid pandemic, your local library can come to you.
Our free Books To You service lets you borrow real books, magazines, DVDS, talking books and large print, without having to step outside your door.
You can arrange for a friend or neighbour to pick up and collect your books for you, or we can appoint a trusted volunteer.
How do I join?
To get set up, phone 07 889 8388 to talk to one of our team.
They will put you in touch with one of our team leaders, who will chat with you to find out what you are interested in and what books you have enjoyed in the past. This will help us choose books and magazines to suit you.
