Come along to one of our morning teas on Friday 8 March, 2024 from 10.30am-12pm.
We will be hosting a morning tea, book display, and discussion to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024. The theme for 2024 is Inspire Inclusion.
The book display will feature new and existing titles held in our collections on topics such as biographies, inclusion, gender bias and equality, feminism, women in history and society, and women’s sports.
We will be showcasing some of these titles, promoting what International Women’s Day (8 March 2024) and Women’s History Month (March) are all about, and inviting representatives from local women’s organisations to promote what their organisations are all about.
Interspersed with morning tea and a cuppa we hope that you might meet some new people, find out what is happening in your community, and discover a new book or three for you to read.
