Do you know of good books or publications but haven't been able to find them in the library? We would welcome your suggestions if you think they will be of interest to our community.
If we are not able to purchase the item (i.e. it doesn’t fit our buying policy, or is specialised, older or out-of-print), we may be able to borrow it from another library outside of Matamata-Piako via the interlibrary loan service, also known as an interloan. The standard fee for an interloan is $10 an item. Other charges may apply for urgent or international interloans.
We encourage you to make your requests for purchase/interloan by completing an Online Requests Form via your account.
You may also visit the libraries or phone us with your request.
UPDATE: Are you looking for the requests form?
Our Requests Form has recently been updated and relocated. If you would like to suggest a purchase or request an Interloan, please sign in to your library account.
You’ll find the new form by clicking the “Send a Request” option at the top right corner of the page.
Once your request has been submitted, you can track its progress yourself by selecting the Requests tab in your account. From there, you can:
- View the status of your current requests
(Processed and completed requests will be removed after 6 months.) - Edit or cancel requests if needed.
