Have you read the so-called Classics? Now's your chance! 

We've put together a list of 15 Classic novels and 15 "Modern Classics" and we challenge you to read at least 12 of these over the next year. Starting in March, you can pick up one of our Challenge Booklets and get started!

So what are the rules?

• All books need to be read between March 2025 and March 2026 (there will be space in the booklet to write your start and finish dates)
• All books can be accessed in some form from the library, but if you have your own copy you're more than welcome to read that
• If you borrow physical copies from the library, we ask that you please return them on time to allow others to take them out
• You can choose to read either the Classics or the Modern Classics, or you can mix it up and do a bit of both
• If you have already read a book on the list, you can either read it again or you can pick a different book from the list to read

There will be prizes available for the challenge! For every three books you read, you can put your name in the draw to win one of three big prizes! The more you read, the greater your chance of winning.
