Beat the boredom these school holidays with our exciting selection of children’s programs at Matamata-Piako libraries!

Themed around fore lore, fairytales, and all manner of creatures and beasties.

Programs are running in all 3 libraries on the same time/days. We have scheduled and self-guided events so there is something for everyone.

 Week 1: Dragon treasure hunt (25-29 September)

Grab a map from the desk and go hunt for dragons around the library - you might even find some treasure!

Ink characters (Monday 25 at 11am)

Lift-the-flap pictures (Wednesday 27 at 11am)

Mini-book making (Friday 29 at 11am)

Week 2: Shadow puppets (2 – 6 October)

Grab our shadow puppet box and puppets and have fun creating your own story.

No need to book, just come along and join in.

We will have colouring pages available throughout the holidays as well.
