Parks Week is coming up on 5 - 13 March.

Parks Week is all about exploring parks and open spaces, and the positive influence they have on our wellbeing. The Matamata-Piako District has heaps of parks, playgrounds, gardens and tracks to explore.

To celebrate Parks Week, Matamata-Piako Libraries are holding free Story Time sessions in parks around the district.

• Morrinsville: 11am on Tuesday 8 March in Thomas Park.
• Matamata: 11am on Monday 7 March by the Matamata Domain playground.
• Te Aroha: 11am on Wednesday 9 March by the Herries Park playground.
