POETRY PODCAST 2025: Daffodil Day by Anonymous DAFFODIL DAY by ANONYMOUS
Daffodil Day!
Daffodils falling at the seam,
very green grass protecting the steam,
Freezing cold water,
Sending hydration beyond the daffodils,
Doves around the room,
for those who are now a daffodil in bloom,
Symbolizing hope and strength,
ones daffodils can always go back into Read More

Freezing cold water,
Sending hydration beyond the daffodils,
Doves around the room,
for those who are now a daffodil in bloom,
Symbolizing hope and strength,
ones daffodils can always go back into blossom,
Daffodils returning with no execution,
humans being stuck with daffodil illness,
Awaiting the day the daffodil leaves,
meanwhile their presence is a treasure chest
amongst a pirates dream,
Protecting our daffodils from the worst,
daffodil day will never be cursed,
People suffering from the unluck of the sad daffodil,
daffodils passed around like kids and their rugby ball,
Daffodils taking years off ones life,
they’ll be stuck in a room with no appetite,
Losing life and losing minutes,
poor families having to suffer by the slight sight
of a new born daffodil,
Cherished memories being crushed with tears,
daffodils turning into peace at the sight of spring,
for those who we have lost.
Daffodil day brings families together for those who we have lost,
for those who have past this tragic occurrence,
have passed one's tragic fear ,
Daffodil day has changed us all,
daffodil day has made us all have a different perspective,
of what this day is about.
