This was our last weekly draw for book reviews, but don't let that stop you adding your latest book.
We don't have any ebook or audiobook reviews yet and we will still be giving out spot prizes.
This weeks winners were 'The Gobbler' for Holes, arguably Louis Sachars most famous title, and 'Country girl' for My rebellious heart by Samantha James.
Congratulations to both of you and I hope you enjoy your books.
This gorgeous book about the life and death of New Zealand's legendary bird has won yet another award this time as part of the New Zealand Post Book Awards. It has won for its author Quinn Berentson the New Zealand Society of Authors' Best First Book, and its no wonder. Filled with photos, maps, and detailed research this book covers everything you ever wanted to know about our legendary bird the Moa. From the controversial discovery back in the 1840s to the displays in our museums today. Moa has won the Royal Society of New Zealand's 2013 Science Book Prize as well. This book is well worth perusing and a joy to read.
Our last Toddler times for the term were a hit at all libraries. What a great way to finish the school term.
Thank you to all of you who make it such a great success.
Remember there is no Toddler time for the next two weeks, but it will be back at the same time next term.
In the meantime why not register and review or recommend books which you are enjoying reading aloud.
School holidays are here and the sun is shining. What a great start to the school holidays.
Lets hope that it gives everyone time to get some more reading done and book reviews posted.
Our winners this week are JL for the review "You can't scare a princess" and Jodster (yes, she is doing plenty of reviews for us all to read).
Congratulations to you both!
Hairy Maclary is 30 years old.
We will be reading some of our favourite stories to celebrate.
Join us at Toddler time this week for a great time.
