Kia ora, book-lovers!
Our next meeting will be held at Te Aroha Library, 4pm on Friday 2nd November. We will be discussing Fiction written by an author whose surname starts with X Y or Z.
Sounds fairly easy, right? Actually, it’s going to be an interesting challenge – here in Te Aroha we have only a dozen titles in this category, although those are certainly interesting reads, for example William Paul Young’s follow-up to ‘The Shack’, ‘Crossroads’. There’s also New Zealand author Karen Zelas’ ‘Past Perfect’, a novel exploring the French /NZ settlement of Akaroa, travelling between past and present, and from northern to southern hemispheres. And those two books are just a random sampling of what’s on the shelf. You may also find e-books plenty to read in this unusual category, using our Wheelers Eplatform app.
Have fun rising to the challenge!
