The Big Library Read is back again, this time with an adult mystery gving you the perfect excuse to try out an e-book or add to your library. The book 'A Pedigree to Die For' is the first book in the Melanie Travis series by Laurien Berenson, this title will be available from June 3-18. The long weekend is finally here and it's the last for a while which means we need to make the most of it- whatever we might be doing. The libraries are open until 7pm tonight and in the morning from 9am until 1pm as per normal, this gives you plenty of opportunity to pop in and grab a great read to enjoy over the long weekend. We will be closed on Monday but will be back to normal on Tuesday- don't forget toddler time at Matamata and Te Aroha libraries (and Wednesday in Morrinsville). Sit back, relax, grab a great book and have a fantastic long weekend!
Ancestry.com can be accessed from our libraries for no charge at all. This service is available both on the APNK computers in the library and also on your own device when connected to the APNK wifi (which means this service is available 24/7). Both of these are free service thanks to the Aotearoa Peoples Network Kaharoa.
If you are interested in finding out more about your family history ancestry.com is a great place to start, you never know what you might uncover. Ancestry also has a speicial offer on this weekend where there is no charge for using any of their site wherever you have access to the internet.

Are you looking for something to do on a Friday night?
Well look no further, bookclub is held at Te Aroha library on the first Friday night of each month. The next one is the 6th of June from 5.45 to 6.45 and the discussion will be on adventure titles, so pop down to check out the selection at either Matamata, Morrinsville or Te Aroha libraries. The Morrinsville library book club is currently in recess but the Te Aroha book club is open to members of all three libraries.
