Ancestry.com can be accessed from our libraries for no charge at all. This service is available both on the APNK computers in the library and also on your own device when connected to the APNK wifi (which means this service is available 24/7). Both of these are free service thanks to the Aotearoa Peoples Network Kaharoa.
If you are interested in finding out more about your family history ancestry.com is a great place to start, you never know what you might uncover. Ancestry also has a speicial offer on this weekend where there is no charge for using any of their site wherever you have access to the internet.

The ever so disturbing (to me anyway) Scandanavian noir author Camilla Lackberg is touring the country this month. Camilla will be at the Auckland Writers Festival next week, (Click here to go to the Festival website), so if you can, get along to the AWF don't forget to take your book for signing!
Also there are further oportunities to see her earlier in the week in Christchurch, Wellington or Palmerston North. Check this site for venues and times!
